Makati Court Junks DOJ’s Motion For Sen. Trillanes Arrest
TRILLANES – A Makati Court junked the motion of the Department of Justice for the arrest of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.
Currently, the Senator who is a former Navy Lieutenant is still facing lots of issues following the revocation of his amnesty by Duterte Proclamation 572.
Previously, the Senator was arrested after a warrant of arrest against him was issued. He posted a bail of Php 200,000.
A motion to have him arrested was also pushed through by the Department of Justice over coup d’etat.
Based on a recent report, the prosecutors told ABS-CBN News that a Makati Court junked the motion of the DOJ to have the Senator arrested.
