Here are some of the photos of the Cagayan province after Typhoon Ompong (Mangkhut) make a landfall in the area on Saturday.

On Saturday early morning (September 15, 2018), Typhoon Ompong (Mangkhut) make a landfall in Baggaoc Cagayan with intense wind and torrential rains.

PAGASA reported that Ompong has maximum sustained winds of 170 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of 260 kph.

The weather agency also advised the residents of typhoon-affected areas to be prepared for up to 6-meter high storm surges.

The typhoon is now heading towards Apayap and Ilocos Norte but 29 area remain under various tropical cyclone warning signals.
