VICTOR MAGTANGGOL – The ratings of the pilot episode of Alden Richards’ new show Victor Magtanggol versus Coco Martin’s FPJAP finally revealed.

Alden Richards new show Victor Magtanggol has indeed dominated the social media platform as it reached more than a million tweets on Twitter.

A lot of people went all giddy as the hashtag of its pilot episode gradually reached the top spot as the most talked about and trending topic.

Moreover, a lot of positive feedback has been said about how the show is so promising coming from the plot of the story, the casting, and among other factors.

And recently, the AGB Nielsen and the Kantar Media-TNS revealed the ratings of the show against its opposite from the rival network, the FPJ’s Ang Probinsiyano of Coco Martin which is now running to its third year.

AGB Nielsen “uses a panel size of 1,980 homes based solely in urban areas that represent only 57 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population”. Meanwhile the Kantar media “uses a panel size of 2,610 of rural and urban homes which represents the 100 percent of the total Philippine TV viewing population” which means they get the nationwide ratings of the programs.

With the digits being laid, it seems like the pilot episode of the VM failed to topple the FPJAP which has a 2.3% and 22.4% advantage in ratings respectively based on the results from AGB Nielsen and Kantar media.

However, Alden Richards’ new show, according to the netizens from Twitter, is promising and really attractive for kids because of its effect and will surely topple the top-rating show from the Kapamilya network in time.
