Kathryn Bernardo talked about her first project with James Reid
Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo admitted that she and actor James Reid didn’t click immediately in their first series, ‘Someone, Someday.’
This series served as Kathryn and James’ teleserye comebacks. Even though they belonged in the same home network, ABS-CBN, they hadn’t had an acting project together in the past.
They belonged in two of the most popular loveteams of their generation. Kathryn was in an onscreen partnership with her ex-boyfriend, Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla, for a decade, while James had his former girlfriend, award-winning actress Nadine Lustre, as his loveteam partner for many years.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Balita, Kathryn Bernardo admitted that she had a hard time forming her character for her series with James Reid.
The actress shared that she got something from her previous characters in ‘Mara Clara,’ ‘Got to Believe,’ ‘2 Good 2 Be True,’ and ‘A Very Good Girl.’
As it is her first time working with James, aside from it being her telerserye comeback, she shared her initial dynamics with the actor.

“Matagal din kaming nag-warm up ni James. Definitely. Hindi siya yung instant na nag-click kami pareho. We don’t wanna force it to… parang nagtatantyahan kami, I was so curious about him, kung paano siya magtrabaho, how he is on set,” the Asia’s Superstar.
Kathryn Bernardo also shared that James Reid is very quiet. When asked if she would start a banter with the actor, the actress said that she did not know this because she and James are both shy.
Meanwhile, a rumor recently surfaced that Kathryn will star in the remake of the horror movie Feng Shui. However, when veteran director Chito Rono, who directed the original movie, was asked about this, he said that he had no idea about it. On the other hand, he has no problem if the Asia’s Superstar stars in it.
