“Victor Magtanggol” Allegedly Being A Rip-Off Of “Thor” Gains Reaction From Alden Richards

Alden Richards Reacts To Netizens’ Comparison On “Victor Magtanggol”, “Thor”

VICTOR MAGTANGGOL – Kapuso Star Alden Richards responds to netizens who criticized “Victor Magtanggol” allegedly being a rip-off of Marvel movie “Thor”.

Days ago, he made a video and apologized to his bashers regarding on how AlDub did not meet their demands. The actor is well aware of the fact that there will always be those negative comments about them and about him.

As of the moment, he and Maine are currently working on different projects. To him, AlDub is far from over as they are currently “exploring” so that when they go back, they are able to work together as partners.

Alden is one of the main casts in the currently-awaited show “Victor Magtanggol”. Most noteworthy, he is well aware of the negative criticism of the show before it even started. This includes the show being compared to Marvel’s movie “Thor”.

According to a report in PeP, Alden said that the show will bring more than what the netizens expect.

He further added that the show is his “biggest breaks in showbiz” and there are more people who are awaiting his return in prime time. Even more, he admitted that he is currently pressured since the network invested so much for the show based on the report.

As per the report from LionHeartTV, Marvel doesn’t have proprietorship over Thor as the character is originally from the Norse mythology which is public domain. This could mean that anyone can use the material without permission or compensation from the copyright owner.

The creator Jules Katanyag said that the show will take place where Norse mythology ends.

Based on the report, he further said that this will be after the gods, including Thor, died.
