Suspects Who Pretend as Customers to Rob a Convenience Store in Laguna
Police authorities are now searching for two unidentified suspects who robbed a convenience store in Laguna after posing as customers.
On Tuesday night. (July 7, 2026), a robbery took place at an Alfamart branch in Barangay Cabanbanan at around 9:30 p.m. According to the investigation conducted by the Pagsanjan Police Station, one of the suspects initially entered the store pretending to be an ordinary customer.
Reports revealed that the man picked up an energy drink and proceeded to the cashier to pay for the item. However, while at the counter, he suddenly pulled out a firearm and declared a robbery.
The thieves caught the store employees off guard and left them with little time to react. After threatening those inside the establishment, the armed suspect took the store’s cash earnings. He then quickly fled the area together with his accomplice, who was waiting nearby.
The two escaped on a black motorcycle and headed toward the town of Magdalena.
Witnesses provided descriptions of the suspects to help authorities with their investigation. The main suspect was reportedly wearing a green balaclava, a brown bull cap, a white long-sleeved shirt, and black shorts. He was also armed with a gun during the robbery.

Meanwhile, his accomplice was seen wearing a black helmet, a black jacket, black pants, and white slippers. The pair managed to leave the scene before law enforcement officers arrived.
Authorities have launched a follow-up investigation and are conducting backtracking operations to identify the suspects and determine their location. Police are also reviewing available evidence and gathering additional information from witnesses in hopes of making an arrest soon.
