Politicians React To President Duterte’s “Who Is This St*pid God?” Statement

Here are some of the reactions from famous politicians over President Duterte’s blasphemous statement.

PRESIDENT DUTERTE – The Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte received comments from famous politicians over his controversial “Who Is This St*pid God?” statement.

President Rodrigo Duterte has recently been under fire of criticisms after blasting some Christian beliefs in a speech he made. Based on a previous report, Digong has stated, “Who is this stupid God? Estupido talaga itong p***** i** kung ganun. You created some — something perfect and then you think of an event that would tempt and destroy the quality of your work.”

This was during his opening speech for the 2018 National ICT Summit in Davao City.

Moreover, he is seemingly not done yet in slamming these for in a follow-up report, he continued his tirades right before this Christian-dominant country.

He questioned the people in the “Last Supper” saying “who are the idiots there?”

“Basta na lang ginawang santo kasi nandun sila sa painting. San Isidro, San Pablo, St. Jude, Santo Rodrigo kung sino na lang,” Duterte accordingly said.

And with the previous blasphemous statement, Rita Avila, Panfilo Lacson, and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV reacted to the controversial issue.

In a report from Rappler, Rita Avila has stated in a now-deleted Instagram post on her account, “This is a reflection of you, Mr. President. You only respect yourself. You look at us like garbage cans where you freely throw your trash. Wag naman ganun. Tao kami.”

In another article published by Rappler, Lacson has indicated taking God’s side, “Between him and my God to whom I pray every single day and with whom I’ve found solace and comfort in all my difficult times, I don’t even have to think of my choice. May my God forgive him and make him atone for all his sins.”

And lastly, the well-known critic of the president, Senator Trillanes, has said, “It is the height of arrogance of power not only to disrespect and spit on an individual’s faith but also to act as though he is a god. It should be clear now to everyone that Duterte is one evil man.”
