Alden Richards gets the same question regarding his love life
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards admitted that he is tired of constantly explaining why he still doesn’t have a girlfriend.
Alden is one of the most eligible bachelors in the entertainment industry. He had a phenomenal onscreen partnership with Eat Bulaga host Maine Mendoza, and they were known as the AlDub loveteam.
With their incredible onscreen chemistry, fans could not help but think that they were a couple in real life. However, that was not the case, and when the loveteam was dissolved, some fans still believed that they were married and already had a child in secret.
Maine Mendoza is now happily married to actor-politician Arjo Atayde, while there had been instances when Alden Richards was linked to female personalities such as Winwyn Marquez, Catriona Gray, and Kathryn Bernardo.
However, as of this writing, Alden has remained single. In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, the Kapuso actor admitted that he does not want to explain anymore about the status of his love life, as it is something people have been asking him about for a long time.
“Before po kasi, I would like to put it as I was really searching for it. People are saying, ‘yun na lang ”Yung kulang, nasa ‘yo na lahat eh. I also did try to look, siguro po, but I think, ang nangyayari kasi sa kanya is… people, like all the girls that I tried to have a connection with, ‘pag andu’n na siya, ‘pag alam mong tatawid na, bigla na lang parang gumaganit for some reason,” Alden shared.
The actor also admitted that he might just be saying that he is looking, but in reality, the feeling of love that he has now is for his career. He loves working with people and discovering new things about himself, as he is also able to express himself.
“So I don’t think I really have to explain myself every time because I’m tired of it. I’m tired of explaining myself, I don’t need to prove anything anymore to these people. I’m so used to… I mean, you’re entitled to your opinion, you can say all the things you want, but I’m done,” Alden Richards said.
His next pronouncement seemed to be hinting at not wanting to look for a partner anymore.
