President Duterte Not Yet Done Blasting Against Christian Beliefs & Saints

President Duterte seems not yet done with blasting against Christian beliefs and even questioned the saints and apostles.

Previously, President Rodrigo Duterte has been the headlines of several local news outlets and social media pages after calling God stupid and questioned the story of creation.

Mr. Duterte drew flak and criticisms after releasing those blasphemous statements against God on his speech before the Christian-dominant crowd.

However, the president continues to launch series of tirades against Christian beliefs and questioned the saints and apostles.

On Monday (June 25, 2018), the characters in the “Last Supper” referring to the 12 apostles, has been questioned by President Duterte.

“And even itong Last Supper who are the idiots there? Basta na lang ginawang santo kasi nandun sila sa painting. San Isidro, San Pablo, St. Jude, Santo Rodrigo kung sino na lang,” Duterte said quoted by GMA.

The “Last Supper” was the time when Lord Jesus Christ washed the feet of his disciples as an act of humility. Jesus also gave bread and wine to his disciples, which was considered by the Catholics as the “Holy Mass”.

“Why do you bind with me something very stupid. Binigyan ako ng Diyos ng isip,” Duterte added.

  1. “They just made saint because they were in the painting. San Isidro, San Pablo, St. Jude, Santo Rodrigo, who is it?”

He is closer to the truth than the religious leaders. All the saints are just like us, forgiven sinners. No not one should be venerated and worshiped except Jesus.

“Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.” Don’t make Moses and Elijah, only Jesus.

Don’t worship any men or women except the Son of God.
