Sunshine Cruz Reveals Side Amid Controversy Involving Ex-Husband Cesar Montano
SUNSHINE CRUZ – Kapuso actress Sunshine Cruz revealed what she told her three daughters amid the issue involving their actor father Cesar Montano.
Actress Sunshine Cruz and actor Cesar Montano were a couple for more than a decade and they have three daughters: Samantha Angeline Manhilot, Angel Francheska Manhilot, and Angelina Isabelle Manhilot.
In 2013, Sunshine and Cesar separated due to the alleged third party on the side of the actor. He was linked to model Krista Miller and a year after, his actress wife filed for the annulment of their marriage.
Based on a report, Cesar Montano is currently surrounded by issues relating to the ‘Buhay Carinderia’ project. The ex-husband of Sunshine Cruz was the former Chief Operating Officer of the Tourism Promotions Board of the Department of Tourism. He resigned following money allegations.
Sunshine Cruz’s daughters with Cesar Montano are undeniably affected by the issue involving their father. There are some people who are questioning the food and clothes of their daughter.
Previously, through a Facebook post, the actress defended her daughters and stressed that it was her who buys their food and clothes and even their car. She also revealed telling her daughters that they should not be ashamed.
Recently, Sunshine Cruz spoke about her Facebook post. Based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), the actress expressed that it is painful on her part that her children are receiving negative statements. She stressed that they don’t deserve it.
“Kasi yung mga anak ko may controversy na naramdaman, sabi ko ‘anak there’s nothing to be ashamed of, you know it’s mom who buys, food, clothes and even your car’ sabi ko pa sa kanila,” she said.
According to the Kapuso actress, she also told her daughters to just pray for their dad Cesar Montano.
Based on the report, Sunshine Cruz also revealed that she and actress Theresa Loyzaga plan to meet. The latter is the mother of young Kapamilya actor Diego Loyzaga, the son of Cesar Montano.
“Plano din namin magkita ni Theresa, kasi nasasaktan din siya. Ganun ata talaga kapag may mga controversial na mga issues (ang magulang) damay pati anak niya, si Diego damay din… In all fairness to Diego napakabait niya,” she said.
