Student Involved in ‘Wrestling’ Incident With School Guard in Quezon, Palawan Reportedly a Well-Behaved Child, According to Family
A student who became involved in wrestling with a school guard was described by his family as a well-behaved child.
The student who became involved in a viral altercation with a school guard at Quezon National High School in Quezon, Palawan has been described by his family as a respectful and well-behaved young person who simply made a mistake.
According to reports from Barangay Alfonso XIII, the young man is not known for causing trouble in the community. Family members and local officials said the teenager has generally shown good behavior and has no history of being involved in similar incidents.
Initial investigations revealed that the student had only gone to the school to deliver a module. While waiting at the guard house, he reportedly became curious about a vape device that had been confiscated from another student
The vape was being kept by the school guard along with other confiscated items.
Authorities said the student allegedly tried using the vape out of curiosity. When the guard noticed what had happened and confronted him, the situation quickly escalated. The student reportedly ran from the area, leading to a chase that eventually ended in a physical struggle outside the school.
Despite the incident, Barangay Community Organizer Ronelio Lago said the student immediately admitted his mistake and acknowledged that what he did was wrong. He also expressed his willingness to accept any disciplinary action that may be imposed by the school.
The student’s parents have likewise assured school officials that they will not tolerate their child’s actions. Instead, they plan to cooperate fully with the school administration regarding any measures or penalties that may be necessary.
School officials are expected to meet with the student and his parents to discuss the matter further.
