Morissette Amon Breaks Silence Over Being Dragged in Sarah Geronimo’s Issue

Recently, The Filipino “Pop Star” Sarah Geronimo’s meltdown in an overseas concert has been buzzing the social media and even making headlines in different news platforms in the country.

Reports disclosed that the singer confessed being drained, hence the emotional meltdown. Sarah also revealed that she continues to seek for a different source of contentment after feeling a pang of ‘emptiness’ despite her accomplishments.

Amidst the infusing news, a Facebook user, who claimed to be Amy Perez’s personal assistant accused Morissette and co-singer Angeline Quinto for supposedly poking fun at Sarah Geronimo’s breakdown video. .

Angeline has been vocal to social media to prove her innocence, a previous report claimed that she filed a blotter report after having received threats in the wake of the brewing issue. Meanwhile, Morissette remained tight-lipped amidst being bombarded by the Popsters.

However, in an interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe, Morissette finally broke her extensive silence and denied the controversial rumor, meticulously refuting every detail in the exposed version of the story.

As per Morissette, she was at home with her family when she learned about Sarah Geronimo’s emotional breakdown.

She also emphasized they never entered a dressing room in the recent guesting in “Umagang Kay Ganda” and brought up the fact that the show’s host Amy Perez denied having a personal assistant, contrary to the buzzes.

According to the report, the Breakout singer said she lamented that many people actually believed the made-up stories despite the lack of evidence supporting the claims.

“Nagulat ako,” she told the source. “Bakit naman po kami dinadamay ni Angeline, na ginawan pa kami ng ganoong kuwento?”

As a fellow singer, Morissette stressed that she can relate with associates in the entertainment industry when it comes to being drained from work.

“Of course, I feel for her, because I am in that same nature of work. I also get tired, I also have moments like that, na feeling ko, pagod na pagod na ako, pero I still have to do it for my audience, for my craft. I owe it to them, to the people who work hard to make the show possible,” she said.
