ROBIN PADILLA – Famous action star Robin Padilla commended Piolo Pascual and Joyce Bernal over generous amounts they donated for the housing in Marawi.
After several months of being under the war between the country’s military troops and the Maute terrorist group which is linked to the international extremists ISIS, Marawi has finally got their total freedom.
The liberation of Marawi has been announced by President Rodrigo Duterte after the deaths of the leaders of the militants of whom are Isnilon Hapilon and Omar Maute.
The ISIS-inspired terror group has besieged the Marawi since May 23 thus making the president to put the entirety of Mindanao under the Martial Law.
As of October 16, the Armed Forces of the Philippines reported 824 terrorists killed, 827 firearms recovered, and 1,771 hostages were rescued.
Unfortunately, there were 162 soldiers killed in action and 1000 others were wounded.
Marawi may have been declared liberated but the Martial Law will still be lifted in December.
Along with the freedom that the Philippine soldiers have fought and risked their lives for is the rise of Marawi and its people.
And the government was doing everything they can and give all the help they could for the place and the people.
But then, there are these kind-hearted people who are generous enough to give a substantial donation for Marawi.
Two of whom are Piolo Pascual and Bb. Joyce Bernal which was lauded by the action star Robin Padilla on his Instagram account.
Based on the post of the veteran male actor, Piolo Pascual has donated P1,000,000 and a half-million pesos from the female director all for the housing project for the Marawi people.
