PCOO Asec. Mocha Uson Finally Reveals The Source Of Photo Considered By Rappler Fake

The PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson has revealed the source of the photo considered by Rappler as “Fake” and “Misleading”.

Previously, Esther Margaux “Mocha” Justiniano Uson, the assistant secretary of Presidential Communications Operation Office (PCOO) has uploaded the photo of Marawi City with a caption saying that about 22 barangays were already cleaned by the local government units.

However, the social media website “Rappler” accused Mocha Uson of giving misleading information through using the photo taken by Rappler correspondent Bobby Lagsa, which was taken last May 25, 2017, contradicting Uson’s post.

Recently, Mocha Uson clarified that she has no intention to give misleading information to the public. She also revealed the source of the photo she used on her post, which was considered by Rappler as misleading.

Uson revealed that the photo she used on her post came from “MULA SA MASA, PARA SA MASA” page/blog and disseminated it in the social media in performing her role as PCOO Asec.

The former lead singer of Mocha girls has already reported the incident to the PCOO administration.

Currently, the photo was already removed from “MULA SA MASA, PARA SA MASA” social media page.

Nililinis mo pa pangalan mo Mocha. Kahit saan ba nanggaling yang pic na yan at balita na ni repost mo dapat alam mo ang FAKE sa TOTOO! Ikaw dapat ang nagbibigay ng tamang impormasyon pero ikaw ang nagkakalat ng pekeng balita, mahiya ka naman, dinadamay mo pa ang mga blogger. Magbasa ka at mag research bago ka maglost ng balita sa fb or sa blog mo. Di ka kailangan ng gobyerno, ang dami ng issue at pinaguusapan wag ka na makisawsaw please lang, nasasayang ang oras sayo ng mga tao sa gobyerno every time na may ginagawa ka na kapalpakan.
