The World Boxing Organization (WBO) will re-score the match of Manny Pacquio and Jeff Horn but has no plans of changing the results.
The World Boxing Organization (WBO) is set to re-score the Manny Pacquiao-Jeff Horn welterweight match due to controversial judges’ final decision but has no plans of changing the results.
According to the news report released by the Inquirer, the WBO just responding to the letter of the Philippines government department, Games and Amusements Board, requesting to have a thorough review on the match.
But then again, they will just have to re-score it without having plans of changing the results.
The change of the result will be reconsidered if the GAB could present any violation from the match.
“I would be very grateful if the GAB can provide any evidence indicating fraud or violation of law,” said WBO president Francisco Valcarcel.
As per the previous report, the Filipino boxing icon urges as well the organization to do so the request of GAB.
