REYNALDO PERNIA PEREGRIN – Â A netizen claiming that he is the grandson of Reynaldo Pernia Peregrin said that the old man has already been taken by his elder sister.
Recently, the photos of an old man went viral on the social media after a concerned netizen shared about his condition in the hope that it could reach his family.
Based on a previous news report, the old man is Reynaldo Pernia Peregrin who was from Sudan and was not able to go home to the Philippines for 32 years.

Reportedly, it was netizen Grace B. Deang who shared about Peregrin on the social media. She posted the photos of Peregrin and as well as his I.D.
Based on her post, Peregrin was one of those passengers of the Saudia flight 872 which landed in Manila on Wednesday.
It is stated in the post that the old man has a Parkinson’s disease and he was accompanied by a person from the Department of Foreign Affairs to assist him.
The post also stated that he will be taken to the Overseas Workers Welfare Association or OWWA before he will be under the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Fortunately, his family knew about his arrival. Recently, netizen Jomari Peregrin sent a message to Philnews asking about the location where the older Peregrin can be found.
He claimed that they are the family of the old man. The site asked about some of his personal information and as well as the permission to publish an article regarding his claim.
Jomari Peregrin permitted Philnews to do so and told the site that he is the grandson of the old man. He shared that he is from Pasig City.
According to him, Reynaldo Pernia Peregrin has already been taken by his elder sibling whom he tagged as “Lola Lina”.
Sadly, Reynaldo now faces the loss of his other sibling Cristobal Peregrin, the grandfather of the netizen who reached the site.
“Hindi niya na inabot ang pangalawa niyang kapatid na si cristobal peregrin (lolo ko) ngayon nakaburol ito samen,” Jomari said in a message sent to the site.
