Actress-Host Kris Aquino shared her story on a social media post.
KRIS AQUINO – In a post on her Instagram account, actress and host Kris Aquino revealed that she auditioned for a ‘big Hollywood studio movie’ project.
Kris shared her inspiring story on her account as most of the populace celebrates the Easter Sunday. She posted a photo on her Instagram account and the photo entails a bible verse – 2 Corinthians 12:9 “But He said to me, ‘My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
In the caption, she started her story by stressing that she experienced “rejections” and a there’s a part of her spirit that was broken. According to Kris, she lost two shows.
“Hiring an Aquino for TV was a political risk not worth taking… But something happened [on] March 23, 2017, “ she stated.
According to the actress-host, Jhett Tolentino, ‘a Tony & Grammy award winning Broadway producer,’ tapped her through Nene Chan and Cong. Len Alonte. She was asked if she want to take chances for a ‘big Hollywood studio movie.’
Recognizing that she has nothing to lose although they would have to submit the reel in three days, the actress shared that they went for a shoot and sent the material on Sunday then waited for the result as they prayed.
Aquino shared in her post yesterday that she will fly to Los Angeles for the contract signing after she passed “5 levels of intense scrutiny” and a role was offered to her. She will be meeting Chris Lee in L.A.
According to the actress, she can’t give any information about the project as she has signed a ‘non-disclosure agreement.’ In her post, she mentioned and thanked all those who helped and supported her.
Aquino expressed her gratitude to Director Ricky Villabona, DOP Shayne Sarte & her team, ARMADA, Juan Sarte, Kimi Yap, Nicko Falcis, Nante Alingasa, Atty Joji’s Quantum Post Production, Jules Dacanay, Alvin, and the Online Team of the actress.
“I am proof that in life doors will shut & there will be heartbreaking setbacks but FAITH in God’s plan will open new, unexpected doors,” Aquino stated.
The IG post of the actress has already gained more than seventeen thousand likes and lots of Instagram users have also expressed their congratulations to Kris through comments.
One of the previous projects of Kris was the travel show ‘Trip ni Kris’ based on a previous news report. It lasted for two hours and had its first airing on GMA in the 9th day of April.
