Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto is the daughter of celebrities Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Barretto. She is currently in a relationship with Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson and they have been together for quite a long time now.

And as much as many are aware, Julia has this quite complicated relationship with her father. In a previous article, the actress expressed in an interview that she is always ready to forgive but with their relationship being in a never-ending cycle of bad times and good times, she got tired.

“It’s not difficult for us to forgive, but it’s difficult to really just… It’s not the forgiveness, it’s to forget. But there’s just a lot of fear because I don’t know what’s gonna happen. But forgiveness, of course, definitely, that’s for my own peace of mind, di ba?” she said.

But it seems like Dennis did not clearly understand what his daughter said. He said in one of his posts previously that he, as well, is not ready to forgive her daughter either. He did not like how the interview went and what Julia said.

And just recently, in seemingly like a peace offering amid all the issues, the actor shared a captionless post that showed a slide of some snaps with the actress. The post is set to the tune of “Love Is the Answer” by England Dan & John Ford Coley and a part of it was asking for another try.
