Police authorities arrested a construction worker after he was found out to be posing as a member of the Armed Force of the Philippines (AFP).
After being discovered impersonating Philippine Army personnel at a police checkpoint in Davao City, a male construction worker was arrested. According to the complaint, the guy was riding his motorcycle while dressed in a soldier’s camouflage clothing.

The suspect presented no driver’s license when officials stopped him to inspect it. Instead, he allegedly pretended to be a soldier and presented a forged AFP ID.
However, the officers who scrutinized him noted that the ID he was holding did not have the AFP emblem on it. As a result, they were able to confirm that the suspect was posing as a military and that he was actually a construction worker.
The cops seized a fake.45 pistol that belonged to the suspect. The motorcycle ridden by the suspect was also discovered to be stolen, according to the police.
Later, once his victim showed at this office and named the suspect as the one who fooled him and took away his motorcycle, it was discovered that his driven motorcycle was a kidnapped vehicle, according to Talomo police chief Police Maj. Sean Logronio. Multiple accusations of breaking Republic Acts 4136, 10883, and 10591 are expected to be filed against the suspect.
