Police Arrest Man After Shooting Debtor in Pampanga For Failing to Pay Debt
MALATE, MANILA – The police authorities have arrested a 26-year-old man for shooting his debtor in Pampanga for failing to pay debt.
Over the previous years, the rate of criminality in the Philippines and other regions all around the world continue to increase. Most crimes usually happen behind the knowledge of the authorities.
The Philippine government has been implementing stricter rules and regulations to reduce the rate of criminality but crimes seem to be unstoppable. Some crimes happen due to extreme emotions.
Some people commit crimes out of anger and frustrations due to unexpected circumstances. However, all crimes have corresponding sanctions and penalties.
The suspect has been arrested in Malate, Maynila after shooting his debtor in Sitio Ipil, Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City, Pampanga last Tuesday (October 5, 2021). The latter is asking the debtor to pay his debt but the victim failed to pay.
Police Captain Philipp Ines ng Manila Police District public information office reported that the gunman quickly shoots the victim identified as Sadam Angilan. The debtor endured gunshot wounds on his chest.

The culprit quickly ran away to escape and has been last spotted in Malate, according to the victim’s relatives. The relatives reported it to the Malate Police that immediately launched a follow-up operation against the suspect.
The manhunt operation has been launched after the Angeles City Police confirmed the incident. The suspect has been detained at Angeles City Police and would face charges of frustrated homicide.
