Former Sen. Trillanes Speaks Against Pres. Duterte, Sen. Bong Go
TRILLANES – Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said that he will release an alleged corruption expose of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Senator Bong Go.
One of the campaign promises of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte when he ran for the top post in the government is to eradicate corruption in the Philippines. However, according to Senator Manny Pacquiao, corruption is still happening in the government and the different public agencies now.
The 76-year-old President challenged the boxer-turned-senator to cite the agencies wherein corruption is happening. The Senator took the challenge and submitted a list of the alleged corrupt government agencies and offices.

Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV reacted on the said issues between Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Sen. Manny Pacquiao. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the former Senator said that the President is brave towards Sen. Pacquiao but he got a lot of alibis when he asked him of a waiver over his accounts with the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI).
“Ang tapang ni Duterte kay Pacquiao, sabi nya mag-cooperate daw lahat sa investigation. Pero nung pinapapirma ko ng waiver para sa P2.2 billion BPI bank accounts nya, napakaraming alibi,” the former Senator stated.
According to former Sen. Trillanes, next week, he will release an expose of the alleged corruption of Pres. Duterte and Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go. Based on the report, the former Senator previously accused the President of having P211 million in a bank account while he accused Sen. Go of involvement in the alleged disadvantageous warship transactions for the Philippine Navy.
