RABIYA MATEO – While Rabiya Mateo failed to take home the 5th Miss Universe crown, her boyfriend Neil Salvacion posted a very meaningful message on his IG stories.

After Filipino pageant fans realized that the Philippines’ representative to Miss Universe 2020 Rabiya Mateo did not make it to the Top 10 on the competition, they began trooping to social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. They posted crying emojis.

Former Miss Universe Philippines MJ Lastimosa cried for the Ilongga beauty queen and posted several crying emojis. Some fans also chose to express their love and support for Mateo online.

Rabiya Mateo ended her Miss Universe 2020 journey early after she finished the Top 21 of the beauty pageant. Andrea Meza of Mexico was crowned as the 69^th Miss Universe.

In a previous article, the Ilongga beauty spoke after failing to win the crown for her country. In an IG live with fellow candidate Miss Bolivia Lenka Nemer, she said her Miss Universe experience was filled with excitement and happiness.

Mateo also said that she was able to find friendships with many candidates from other countries. “It is a beautiful start for something new,” she said.
