MJ Lastimosa had this conversation with Rabiya Mateo
The mood of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo during the National Costume Competition was reflected in this conversation she had with Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa.
MJ is one of the beauty pageant titleholders who have been showing support for Rabiya since the day she was hailed as the Miss Universe Philippines. Previously, being a host, MJ had the chance to interview actress Kathryn Bernardo and the latter gave her message for the Filipina beauty queen.
As her older sister in the world of pageantry, MJ proudly posted the video of Kath on her Twitter account to show support for Rabiya.
After the National Costume competition, MJ Lastimosa once again showed that she rallying behind Rabiya Mateo just like many Pinoy pageant enthusiasts.
“Beat her , hate her , but you can never break a determined woman with a pure heart,” the former beauty queen from North Cotabato wrote in the caption of her post.
This included a screenshot of what Rabiya said to MJ after the NatCos competition. The beauty queen from Iloilo City was speaking in her dialect. Several netizens translated this to Tagalog and English.
Rabiya thanked MJ and said that she truly felt beautiful while wearing her national costume. The latter answered, “And it showed!!!” Several netizens who commented on this post of MJ Lastimosa agreed that Rabiya indeed looked stunning.
