PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (May 1)
The state weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather update in the country for May 1 (Saturday).
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update and reported that the easterlies would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.
The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon. Luzon would generally fair weather condition.
The easterlies and the localized thunderstorms may cause flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms, according to PAGASA. The weather bureau advised the public to take precautionary measures.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
