Here’s the Philippines’ DOH COVID Update as of April 29, 2020.
DOH COVID-19 UPDATE – The Department of Health (DOH) releases the April 29, 2020, update regarding the coronavirus cases in Philippines.
Enhanced community quarantine in Luzon and several other parts of the country has been extended until May 15 only to those which are at high risk while area with moderate or low risk of coronavirus transmission were ordered to enforce general community quarantine. Both are preventive measures to contain the spread of the deadly virus.
Prohibition of mass gathering, curfews, social distancing, disinfection, and proper hygiene is being strictly implemented as encouraged and highly suggested by the Department of Health (DOH) and the authorities.
Updating the country of the daily coronavirus-related figures in the country, the DOH finally released what’s new for this day, April 29, 2020. According to theĀ health department, as of 4 P.M. today, there are 254 new confirmed cases, 28 additional deaths, and 48 new recoveries.
This will give us a total of the following as of April 29:
- 8,212 – COVID-19 cases
- 1,023 – recoveries
- 558 – deaths
