Willie Revillame debunked this claim from a former production intern
Veteran TV host Willie Revillame reacted to the “bawal tingnan at lapitan” accusation from a former production intern of his show.
In an episode of the Walang Edit Edit podcast, the host asked the intern if he had seen Willie. The intern claimed that they were prohibited from interacting or even looking at the veteran host. This was one of the strict rules they had to follow.
The former production intern even shared that their supervisor will be reprimanded if they do not follow this rule.
In a recent episode of Willie Revillame’s show, he addressed this issue. He said that when it was announced that Wowowin is set to return, and issues have surfaced on social media.
He specifically mentioned the claim from the former production intern. “Bakit kayo maniniwala dyan na bawal akong tingnan?” The veteran TV host stressed that he does not know the said intern, and that he has no knowledge if there were student interns in his show.
Willie also stressed that his dressing room in GMA was backstage and no people were usually there. He reminded the public not to believe this claim.
“Siraulo itong batang ‘to eh, gustong sumikat eh. Pati ako gagamitin niyo?” he said. Then, he reiterated that there was no truth to the claim against him because he would joke around with everyone he encountered.
Then, Willie said, “Alam mo ikaw, bata ka pa, siraulo ka na.” The TV host also showed a social media post about the claim. For him, his show that it abot to have its comeback is being used to destory him.
Willie Revillame also encourage the former produciton intern to go to his show’s studio to talk one on one with him, and tell him the exact instance when the intern saw him.
