Actress Sarah Lahbati is currently rumored to be in a relationship with newly elected Tacloban City Councilor Ferdinand Martin Marty Romualdez Jr.
Sarah Lahbati has officially confirmed her split from her husband Richard Gutierrez last year. They have been together as a couple for many years with two sons, and yet, despite the beautiful life they try to portray through their social media posts, it seems it was not in real life.
To recall, it was in December 2023 when Annabelle Rama confirmed the Sarah-Richard split candidly. This year, Gutierrez also confirmed that they are now in the process of their marriage annulment. As for their sons, they are co-parenting.
After being engaged for over two years while growing their family, the couple tied the knot in Manila in March 2020 amid a pandemic. It was an intimate event, attended by the couple’s nearest and dearest as part of the safety guidelines back then.
Gutierrez and Barbie Imperial are together, and the actor clarified that there was no overlap. Recently, rumors about Lahbati having someone new in her life also emerged.
According to the report from Manila Bulletin, she found a new love with newly elected Tacloban City Councilor Ferdinand Martin Marty Romualdez Jr. He is the son of House Speaker Rep. Martin Romualdez and Tingog party-list Rep. Yedda K. Romualdez, and talks about their relationship for now are merely just speculations.
They were allegedly spotted together several times in various circumstances.
The speaker’s son is known as someone who competes in prestigious polo matches. Last year, Marty’s team won in an international polo tournament that was held in Spain. Last May, he tried his luck in joining politics, and he was lucky to have been elected on his first try.
