RUFA MAE QUINTO – The lawyer of the actress confirmed that she is set to posta bail of P1.7 million following her surrender to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Following how the issue involving actress-entrepreneur Neri Naig and the Dermacare took social media by storm, it is no secret to the public that there is an arrest warrant against Rufa Mae. It was confirmed by her lawyer.

Neri was arrested by the authorities at a convention hall of a shopping mall. She is faced with syndicated estafa. Amid her detention, reports that there is another celebrity is set to be faced with a warrant of arrest.

Rufa Mae Quinto was named as the celebrity who is also involved in an issue with Dermacare. Amid the issue, it was also confirmed that Rufa Mae and her husband, Trevor Magallanes, are in the process of divorce. Recently, the actress-entrepreneur went home to the Philippines.

The lawyer of Rufa Mae previously stressed the innocence of the actress from the accusations. Atty. Mary Louise Reyes also expressed that her client is only a brand ambassador or an endorser of the said brand. She affirmed that the actress-entrepreneur plans to surrender to the authorities and post bail.

Rufa Mae Quinto surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) upon her arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 today. She was with her family when she arrived at the airport aboard a Philippine Airlines flight.

The lawyer of Rufa Mae coordinated with NAIA – NBI Chief Jimmy De Leon ahead regarding her surrender. Before she was brought by the authorities to Pasay, the actress went through a medico legal examination.

Recently, on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Tito Boy who is very close to Rufa Mae Quinto shared the news that the actress-entrepreneur is set to post a P1.7 million bail for her temporary release. However, her camp was not able to finish the process today as the actress fell ill.

“Medyo nag-shoot up ‘yung blood pressure niya probably due to stress or jet lag, ‘yung pagod, but I think it’s stress,” the lawyer of the actress said.

The camp of Rufa Mae also hopes for understanding amid their decision to withhold the information. Her lawyer requested the public to stop judging the actress-entrepreneur based on “inaccurate and incomplete information”.

Amid the issue, Rufa Mae claims that she is also a victim.
