Julia Montes talked about getting a year older
Kapamilya actress Julia Montes, in a recent interview, shared her thoughts on turning 30 next year.
Julia was one of the most popular child actresses in the 2000s. From being a child star, she evolved into one of the most in-demand leading ladies of her generation. She has been in the industry for two decades. Basically, she grew up before the public’s eyes.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Julia, who is now 29 years old, was asked about adding a year to her existence.
“Malapit na ako mawala sa kalendaryo noh? Yun yung kasabihan natin mga Pilipino,” the actress quipped about turning 30. However, in a more serious tone, the actress said that she has always regarded age as just a number.
“Siguro… age is just a number. Ever since parang, as early as age five onwards, nagwo-work na kasi ako,” Julia Montes said.
She also said that she does not feel that there is a leap of financial responsibility or something like that because she is just feeling the excitement more.
For her, another year is another blessing. Julia is more concerned about more important things than her age. The actress admitted that the greatest stressor in her life now is her concern about her family’s health.
Julia shared that when her grandmother, her mother, or her father who is away gets sick, she really gets stressed out, especially when she can do nothing right away. The actress admitted that everyday, there are different stressors, and it depends on how one would deal with these.
Julia Montes also admitted that she feels guilty whenever she indulges in self-care but eventually, she realized that this is important for her well-being and that this is vital for everyone and not just for celebrities, influencers, or public figures.
