Is it true that Julia Barretto and Lucas Lorenzo are already engaged?
Rumor has it that actress Julia Barretto is now engaged to her rumored boyfriend, wealthy businessman Lucas Lorenzo.
Julia was first linked to Lucas back in September 2025, which was a few months after her breakup with Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson. However, a source denied that the actress and the business have a relationship.
Lucas is the brother of Mateo Lorenzo, the husband of actress Erich Gonzales. Their brother Basti Lorenzo is the husband of Claudia Barretto, Julia’s younger sister.
Previously, it was revealed that Lucas Lorenzo is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RestaurantConcepts Group Inc.
However, as of this writing, Julia Barretto remained silent about the status of her love life.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube showbiz talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, Julia, and Lucas’s rumored relationship was discussed.
It was said that rumors circulated that the actress is now engaged to the wealthy businessman. This speculation about Julia’s relationship status was prompted by the warnings from netizens after Lucas was accused of having an “anger management issue.”
Ogie’s co-host, Mama Loi, mentioned that, allegedly, Lucas was banned from entering the Country Club because of his “conduct entirely unbecoming of a guest of our Club.”
With this, Ogie said that some netizens warned Julia against the attitude of her rumored boyfriend. “At may nagko-comment nga na, ‘teka lang parang red flag ‘yan ah. Red flag na nag-tantrum dahil sa golf? Napaka-hotheaded dapat chill lang sa golf,’” Mama Loi said.
Then, Mama Loi asked if Julia and Lucas are indeed a couple. The latter answered, “Ito na nga, balitang engaged na rin si Julia kay Lucas.”
Julia Barretto has yet to release a statement regarding her rumored engagement to Lucas Lorenzo.
