Lady Netizen Expresses Frustration Over Disappointing Vacation Experience in Puerto Galera
A lady netizen has shared her stressful and frustrating vacation experience during a family trip to Puerto Galera.
Recently, Janine Timbol Bucal, a Facebook user, opened up about the series of inconveniences they faced from the moment they arrived at Batangas Port. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Due to the long weekend rush, they struggled to find parking and ended up paying a much higher fee than the standard rate. It already caused concern, as they later realized they had been overcharged.

It became more stressful when they were told that trips directly to Puerto Galera were already sold out. While waiting in long lines, they were approached by individuals offering overpriced tickets.
Thankfully, they decided to wait, and later managed to secure tickets at a much lower price.
However, the biggest issue came when they finally arrived at their destination. Despite booking their accommodation weeks in advance, they were informed that their reservation had been canceled.

With family members that included seniors and an infant, they had no choice but to accept another place to stay that was offered to them.
According to her, the alternative accommodation did not meet their expectations. The rooms lacked basic amenities, and the overall condition did not match the price they paid. The following day, they transferred to their original hotel, but the problems continued, including room arrangements and meals that did not meet what was promised.
The experience left the family feeling exhausted and disappointed instead of refreshed. What should have been a joyful celebration turned into a stressful memory.
The netizen called on tourism authorities to look into such incidents and ensure better service for travelers. She also reminded others to stay alert and carefully check arrangements when planning trips.
