Coco Martin continued to fight with his home network
Kapamilya Primetime King Coco Martin thanked the supporters and partners of his home network, ABS-CBN.
It is known to many that the Kapamilya network went through a tough time when its franchise was not renewed. Because of this, many employees lost their jobs and shows ended.
Some celebrities had to seek jobs from other networks and even other fields. Fortunately for Coco, his shows continue to thrive.
ABS-CBN opted to go online and be a content provider for other networks and platforms. Late last year, the media company once again faced a big challenge when TV5 decided to end its contract. The Kapatid network asked the Kapamilya network to pay its dues for the shows being aired on TV5.
After that obstacle, ABS-CBN found a new home with ALLTV, which is now occupying the Kapamilya network’s former channel. Previously, it was reported that Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Batang Quiapo‘s rating went up again.
Based on the article in Bandera, Coco thanked all the supporters and partners of ABS-CBN who continue to trust the company’s mission to champion Filipinos’ stories.
The actor mentioned the struggles and challenges that his home network had faced, and there had been many times they thought that they would not make it, but they continued to survive.
“Pero dahil sa aming mga Kapamilya at sa aming partners, patuloy kaming lumalaban, bumabangon, at ipagpapatuloy namin itaguyod ang ating istasyon para makapagbigay ng saya at inspirasyon para sa lahat ng Pilipino,” Coco said.
Kapamilya fans can expect more exciting shows that will be shown on ALLTV. One of them is Someone, Someday featuring the tandem of Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo and actor-recording artist James Reid, as well as the new series of the KimPau tandem of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, The Alibi: Ang Buong Katotohanan.
The Kapamilya musical variety show ASAP will also continue giving entertainment and fun. Its special episode will feature the comeback of the DonBelle tandem of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano. They are set to do a Star Cinema film that will be released this year.
