Malacañang Asked about Rumored Operation of Pres. Bongbong Marcos Following Hospitalization
BONGBONG MARCOS – Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro spoke on the rumored operation of the President.
Last January 22, countless Filipinos were left curious why Executive Secretary Ralph Recto represented Pres. Marcos in an important event that was held to honor outstanding men. Amid the event, the Malacañang Palace revealed what happened to the President.

Palace press officer undersecretary Claire Castro announced that Marcos Jr. spent the night under medical observation. According to the Malacañang official, the President experienced discomfort and was brought to St. Luke’s Medical Center.
Marcos Jr.’s doctors advised him to rest and be under monitoring. The Palace confirmed that he has been discharged from hospital admission but rumors surrounding the President’s health condition circulated on social media.

There are rumors that Pres. Bongbong Marcos is allegedly set to undergo an operation. Recently, during a press conference, Malacañang press officer Usec. Claire Castro was asked about the said rumors.
According to News5, Castro claimed that Marcos Jr. was in the middle of a meeting during the press conference. A member of the media asked if the President will undergo an operation or has already went through a surgery.
“Wala pong ganoong balita na maibibigay po tayo dahil ngayon po ang Pangulo po ay nasa meeting. So ‘yan po ay fake news,” the Palace official said based on the post.

According to Atty. Claire Castro, the health condition of Pres. Bongbong Marcos is fine now. The Palace official assured that she may share the information from the meeting tomorrow.
“Sa ngayon po ay masasabi natin maganda po ang kalagayan ng ating Pangulo dahil siya po ay kasalukuyang nasa meeting at ‘yun po, marami po silang pinag-uusapang patungkol po doon at kung ano man ang mapag-uusapan ay maaari kong maibigay bukas,” she expressed.
Marcos Jr. previously spoke after his hospitalization and assured the public that he feels better. According to him, he has been diagnosed with diverticulitis which he associated with aging and stress. He also claimed that his doctors advised him to take a rest but he cannot do so because of the many work that has to be done.

Presidential sister and Senator Imee Marcos reacted to the health condition of Pres. Bongbong Marcos and slammed the people who surround him in Malacañang. The Senator expressed a call for her brother amid the political gaps between them.
