Sylvia Sanchez is happy about her recent stint as an actress and producer
Veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez talked about working with Anne Krystel Daphne Go and Earl Jonathan Amaba, showbiz newcomers with Down Syndrome.
The movie I’mPerfect is about the love story between two adults with Down Syndrome. Aside from being one of the stars of this movie, Sylvia’s production company, Nathan Studio,s also produced this project.
In a recent interview, based on the article ABS-CBN Entertainment, the veteran actress talked about working with Anne Krystel and Earl Jonathan in this movie, which is one of eight official entries in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival, and opens in cinemas nationwide on December 25.
Sylvia Sanchez expressed excitement about this movie, including the whole cast. They are excited about the two lead stars. It was a happy experience for them to work with the two adorable people.
“Sobrang mula nung day one hanggang ngayon, puro love, love, love sila. Ay naku, ang sarap. Ang sarap ng relasyon naming lahat sa mga bata. Kasiyahan, katuwaan, halakhakan. Ganun lang. Tawa ng tawa. Masaya. Ginawa namin ito para ipakita yung inclusivity, at awareness ng lahat. Para ipakita sa kanila na kayang kaya nila at ang gagaling nila. Lahat kami, mga seniors, masasabi namin na magagaling sila,” the veteran actress said.
Being a producer, Sylvia said that she wants this project to be her legacy in the entertainment industry. As an artist, she said that people already knew her, but it is a different thing when it comes to being a producer. She wants people to remember that she has done this kind of beautiful project, that her production company was behind it.
“Ibang klaseng pag-po-produce ito. Prinoduce ng mga bata ito at first time naming nag-produce ng ganito. Na-discover ko sa kanila na talagang magaling sila. Kasi nung time na kinuha ko ito, tinanggap ko ito, naniniwala na ako na kaya nila. Pero hindi ko akalain na ganun sila kagaling. So panuorin niyo na lang talaga at malalaman niyo yung sinasabi ko,” she shared.
Sylvia Sanchez also shared that they had been preparing for this movie since last year because of their very special cast members. Everyone was told to be ready for what was going to happen. She admitted that she will surely miss her co-stars in this movie.
