Aifha Medina Reveals What Really Happened in Viral Derek Ramsay Rumors
AIFHA MEDINA – Former SexBomb member Aifha Medina has finally spoken out about the old rumors linking her to Derek Ramsay, putting an end to years of speculation.
Aifha Medina has finally spoken up about the long-circulating rumors that once linked her to actor Derek Ramsay. The former SexBomb dancer firmly denied the issue, clarifying that the speculation was never true.
During her appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Thursday, November 27, Aifha was joined by fellow former SexBomb member Aira Bermudez. In the interview, Boy Abunda asked Aifha which celebrity had been falsely linked to her in the past.
Aifha responded directly, saying, “Na-link sa’kin, si Derek (Ramsay). ‘Yun ang hindi totoo, ‘yun po talaga, big no-no.” She emphasized that there was absolutely no truth to the rumor.
Aira also recalled the time when the issue surfaced. She shared that she was with Derek’s ex-girlfriend then, and their peers were discussing a woman supposedly connected to the actor. According to her, “Pinag-uusapan nila, parang naririnig ko pa nga, Aira. Aira, parang ang labo ko naman para patulan si Derek, no. ‘Ay hindi, hindi, Aifha, Aifha.’ ‘Si Aifha ‘to, kailangan malaman ni Aifha ‘to,’” she said, recounting the confusion surrounding the rumor.
Aifha further clarified that she and Derek never even encountered each other in person. She explained, “’Yun po ‘yung hindi talaga totoo as in never pa po kami nagkita, until now, ng harapan, ng personal.”
Today, Aifha is happily married to businessman Giovanni Cheng, with whom she shares three children. Meanwhile, Derek Ramsay married actress Ellen Adarna in 2021, and the couple has a child named Liana.
Recently, Derek became a hot topic after Ellen revealed allegations of infidelity. On November 17, she posted a series of images and videos on her Instagram Story, showing what appeared to be conversations between her husband and an unnamed woman. Ellen did not specify who the woman was.
In a separate post, Ellen wrote, “As much as I want to reveal who this girl is, I cannot. My lawyers advised me not to, I can get in trouble.” She added that the woman was not an ex-girlfriend, saying, “She is, I think, a side chick… They’ve been friends for decades, and she’s always been there.”
