PAGASA released the latest information about Verbena PH and the areas still under Signal No. 1.
VERBENA PH – PAGASA has released the latest update about the tropical depression and the TCWS currently in effect.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest information about the Tropical Depression Verbena. In the 5 PM update, Verbena has made landfall over Bayabas, Surigao Del Sur, and is now over Agusan Del Norte.

At 4 PM, the location of its center was spotted in the vicinity of Jabonga, Agusan del Norte (9.3°N, 125.6°E). It has maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 75 km/h, and a central pressure of 1000 hPa.
Presently, it moves west northwestward at 30 km/h.

Moreover, the following areas will experience gusty conditions reaching strong to gale-force strength, even not under Wind Signal, due to the surge of the Northeast Monsoon and the tropical depression:

- Luzon, Western Visayas, and Northern Samar on TUESDAY, November 26
Based on the latest track forecast, the tropical depression is expected to cross the Caraga Region this afternoon until early evening, then move faster over the Visayas and the northern part of Palawan from tonight until tomorrow evening. On Wednesday, it is forecast to reach the West Philippine Sea, then it will move westward, pass north of the Kalayaan Islands, and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Thursday (27 November).
