Trust Rating of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Drops to 53%
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President broke her silence on the recent decline of her trust rating based on a survey.
The Philippines is currently faced with huge national issues but the supposed multi-billion corruption is undeniably on the pedestal now. Amid the issue, the political turmoil caused by the gap between Pres. Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Duterte is no secret to the Filipino people.

The Filipinos witnessed the souring relationship between Marcos Jr. and Duterte when she resigned from being the secretary of the Department of Education (DepEd) and totally left his Cabinet. Then, the Vice President claimed that she has both personal and work reasons.
Amid the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption wherein there are calls for the President to step down, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that she is not calling for Marcos Jr.’s resignation as he won’t allegedly do it. According to her, she calls for him to do his job instead.

Recently, a survey showed that the trust rating of both Pres. Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte dropped. With regards to the latter, her trust rating declined from 61% to 53%.

Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte was asked about the possible reason why her trust rating dropped. Based on a post of News5 on social media, the Vice President claimed that she cannot speculate on the reason of the Filipino people but she reaffirmed the commitment of her office to serve.
According to the Vice President, she and the OVP will continue to better their work and ensure that the projects of her office reach the unserved and underserved areas in the country.

“Hindi ako makapag-speculate kung ano ang rason ng mga kababayan natin kung bakit bumaba ang trust rating pero ang masasabi ko ay committed kami sa Office of the Vice President at ako, ang pangalawang pangulo, na pag-igihin pa ‘yung trabaho namin at paniguraduhin na lahat ng projects na nandiyan sa OVP ay umabot doon sa mga unserved and underserved areas ng ating bansa at doon sa mga areas na nangangailangan,” the Vice President said based on the post.
Amid the calls for Marcos Jr.’s resignation, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte recently clarified her ties with Cavite Cong. Kiko Barzaga who previously showed an impeachment complaint against the President.
