Delivery Rider Receives Unexpected Birthday Gift From Customer
A delivery rider received an unexpected birthday gift from a customer because of a delivery mix-up caused by a wrong pin location.
Recently, Reph Bangsila, a Facebook user, shared how he accidentally sent his food order to the wrong address. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited comments online.
Bangsila accidentally sent his food order to the wrong address. When he realized the mistake, he told the rider not to worry about returning it and to just keep the food instead. The rider initially refused, insisting on completing the delivery properly. But Reph assured him that it was fine and told him to consider the meal as a gift.

After a few moments, the rider called again, but this time, not about the order. With emotion in his voice, he thanked Reph, saying that it was his birthday that day and that the meal was the only gift he had received.
The rider was deeply touched, wishing that blessings would return to Reph for his simple act of generosity.
Though some netizens doubted the story’s authenticity, many others reached out to offer help to the rider. Reph later said that the rider was already happy just knowing that his story spread positivity.

The rider even shared the food with his family, turning it into a birthday meal to remember.
Here is the full post:
“Earlier today, nag book ako ng Grab to have food delivered to my location pero sa pag mamadali ko..
I accidentally placed the wrong pin, and once the rider was there, tinawagan at hinanap niya ko.
Once I realized that I was wrong, I simply said, “Okay lang, kuys. Sayo na yan, malayo kasi ako.”
After that, he kept insisting to deliver it to me pero sabi ko sakanya na, “Okay lang, i-complete mo na yung delivery tapos kainin mo na yan. Regalo ko na sayo, kuys.”
Right after, tumawag siya sakin and in his own words
“Sir, marami pong salamat sainyo. Actually naiiyak po ako ngayon kasi birthday ko po, at kayo palang ang nakapag-regalo sakin today. Sana po bumalik sainyo yung biyaya galing kay Lord.”
And in that moment, naintindihan ko that there are never really mistakes in this world.
Everything really does happen for a reason.
Salute sayo, kuya #Grab! Happy Birthday.
JT’s Manukan, i’m coming for you!”
