Pres. Bongbong Marcos Speaks to Aeta Communities during Aid Distribution
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President spoke to the aeta communities during an aid distribution in Porac, Pampanga.
Pres. Marcos has visited several areas across the nation recently to distribute aid amid the different situations that the Filipino people are dealing with. Marcos Jr. has been to Cebu wherein he pledged to give at least P225-million aid for its recovery from the impacts of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that hit the province last September 30.

The President also vowed that the government will build a “tent city” to serve as temporary shelters of around 600 families who lost their homes to the quake that also triggered landslide. Prior to his visit, he ordered the government agencies to provide help to the quake victims.
Marcos Jr. visited Bogo which was the epicenter of the quake. According to him, he will talk to the Congress to ask for more help for the victims of the earthquake that already claimed at least 72 lives.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos assured the quake victims that they will not ran out of food and water. Several other local government units like Davao and Pasig also extended help to Cebu amid the challenging situation in the province.

Aside from distributing aid to the Cebuanos, Pres. Bongbong Marcos also recently went to Porac, Pampanga. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, he led the aid distribution which was part of the Pag-abot Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

In Porac, Pampanga, the Philippine government distributed carabaos and farm to the aeta communities. Php 10,000 in financial aid were also given to each 1,200 beneficiaries.

“Huwag na kayong mag-thank you dahil trabaho talaga namin ito. Pera ninyo ito, kaya binabalik lang namin sa inyo ito,” Marcos Jr. said.
Based on the report, Pres. Bongbong Marcos stressed that the government is ready to do everything to make the lives of the Filipinos comfortable. He also reiterated the giving of land titles to the aeta communities which was announced by former President and Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo prior.
“Hindi po maliit na bagay ‘yung kaka-announce lang ni Congresswoman [Gloria Macapagal Arroyo] na ‘yung titulo ng lupa ay mabibigay na para hindi na po kayo nag-aalala,” he said.

Amid the criticisms, Pres. Bongbong Marcos previously claimed that his desired legacy for the as president is for the people to remember that they have made changes for the better.
