ABS-CBN heartthrob Donny Pangilinan makes a huge donation for the kariton vendors contestants of It’s Showtime’s “Laro Laro Pick.”
It’s always inspiring to witness acts of kindness and generosity. They motivate us to do the same. Recently, in an episode of It’s Showtime, many were moved and inspired by Donny Pangilinan’s heartfelt generosity.
He was deeply moved by the vendors’ stories, and he could not ignore the chance to help them and somehow ease their burdens. The young actor was genuinely touched, and he immediately contacted It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda.
Pangilinan’s donation was announced by Vice on the noontime show, and the superstar shared that the actor had been moved emotionally. This feeling has prompted him to make a huge donation.
According to Vice, Pangilinan called her to say that he wanted to give them PHP 15,000.00 each to the 20 vendors, with a total of PHP 300,000.00. The vendors appeared in the program again, and right then and there, they were given the promised help. They personally received the help from the actor.
“Sabi niya, ‘Vice, nadurog ako, hindi ko kaya ‘yung episode kahapon […] Hindi kaya ng kalooban ko, gusto ko magbigay ng regalo,’” the comedian-host quoted the “Can’t Buy Me Love” actor.
Vice emphasized that Donny’s generosity extends beyond a one-time donation, as he promised that it is not going to be the last time he will be giving help to the contestants of the program. Alongside Donny’s donation, the host also shared an update about one of the vendors, Nanay Rosie, who once lived under a bridge.
Vice revealed that she has now found a new home — a testament to the show’s ongoing commitment to outreach.
