Female Passenger Complains About Reckless Motorcycle Taxi Rider
A female passenger aired her frustration online after a stressful ride with a motorcycle taxi rider she described as reckless.
Recently, Sol Emns, a Facebook user, expressed her frustration towards a reckless motorcycle taxi rider. The post quickly gained attention on social media and garnered various reactions from netizens.
According to the passenger, she booked a ride through the MoveIt app because she was running late for work. At first, everything seemed fine when the rider arrived. But as soon as the trip started, she noticed how careless the rider was.
The rider kept making sudden stops and sharp turns, and didn’t seem to adjust his speed even though the roads were wet from light rain.
The female passenger said it felt unsafe the whole time. They came dangerously close to other vehicles more than once, and if it weren’t for her thick jacket and tight grip on the back handle, she might have fallen off.
Sol couldn’t help but compare the experience to rides she’s had with other riders from different apps, where she felt more secure because the drivers were clearly well-trained.
The commuter doesn’t want to go through that experience again and also asked others about their experiences with the same ride-hailing app.

Ride-hailing companies are also encouraged to monitor their riders more closely and ensure they meet safety standards.

“Nag-book ako sa MoveIt kasi late na ako sa office. Nung dumating yung rider, okay naman. Pero habang nasa biyahe, ramdam ko agad na walang care sa pasahero. Biglang preno, biglang liko, tapos parang hindi marunong mag-adjust ng speed kahit kita mong madulas na yung daan kasi umambon.
Buti na lang may suot akong makapal na jacket kasi ilang beses kaming halos mapadikit sa mga side mirrors ng kotse. Kapit na lang talaga ako sa likod niya kasi kung hindi, baka lumipad ako.
Naalala ko tuloy yung usual kong nakukuha sa ibang app, iba talaga pag alam mong trained si rider. Hindi ka mapapagod kakakapit. Relax ka lang sa biyahe kasi alam mong alam niya ginagawa niya. Pero dito, kada kanto may kaba. Ayoko nang ulitin. Kayo ba ano experience niyo sa MoveIt?”
