Marcos Jr. Says ‘Politics is Over’, Harry Roque Reacts
HARRY ROQUE – The former presidential spokesman slammed President Bongbong Marcos anew over his “politics is over” remarks.
Even after the issuance of an arrest warrant by a local court in Pampanga, Roque has yet to be arrested by the authorities. It is mainly because the former spokesman of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is currently an asylum seeker in The Netherlands.

Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Boying Remulla previously claimed that Harry Roque’s asylum bid in The Netherlands was denied but the former spokesman tagged it as a “fake news”. Roque was hiding for around six months since the House of Representatives ordered his arrest for contempt.
Roque is being probed over his alleged involvement in the illegal Philippine offshore gaming operations in the country. However, as for the former presidential spokesman, it is allegedly the Marcos Jr. administration’s way to silence him as a supporter of the Dutertes.

Harry Roque only appeared in public again when former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte was brought to The Hague for the transfer of his custody to the International Criminal Court. He was even willing to be part of the ICC legal team of his former boss.

However, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte said that they want the lawyers of her father to really be focusing in his case before the ICC. As for Roque, the Vice President stressed that he should focus in his asylum bid.

Roque previously said that he allegedly cannot be deported while the process for his asylum application is ongoing and it may take up to a year and a half. The Philippine authorities said it will seek the assistance of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
Amid his pursuit to be part of the ICC legal team of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Malacañang previously called on Harry Roque to defend himself first. The Palace also encouraged the Filipinos to call for the return of Roque instead of calling for Duterte’s return.
Recently, Harry Roque slammed Pres. Bongbong Marcos anew. On social media, the former presidential Spokesman expressed his reaction to the statement of the Chief Executive when he said that “politics is over”.

According to Roque, the said statement came from Marcos Jr. whose only felt project in the first half of his admin is allegedly the “destruction of the Dutertes”. In his post, the former presidential spokesman also called the government a “circus”.
“Politics is over, says Marcos Jr whose only felt project in the first half of his administration is the destruction of the Dutertes. Tama nga, when a clown enters a palace, it becomes a circus,” Roque stated.

Previously, amid a warrant of arrest against him, former presidential spokesman Harry Roque challenged the Philippine government to come and get him.
