Married couple Kiefer Ravena and Diana Mackey have revealed that they lost their first baby due to a miscarriage.
In October 2024, beauty queen Diana Mackey and basketball star Kiefer Ravena announced their engagement. The engagement announcement came shortly after they revealed their relationship.
In March 2025, the Japan B. League import announced that his fiancée was pregnant with their first child.
“MARCHing together in this beautiful journey with [Diana Mackey]. You are amazing and you are destined to be a Super Mommy,” he wrote in an Instagram post where he shared a photo of them hugging while showing off a pair of baby sneakers and sonogram snapshots.
Last June 11, Kiefer and Diana tied the knot in a church ceremony; however, despite the stunning affair, what people noticed was the lack of a bump in the bride’s stomach. Many wondered what happened and how she managed to hide, but in reality, something heartbreaking had happened.
“Shortly after announcing it, I think a week after announcing it or two weeks, we lost the baby, unfortunately, at seven weeks,” Diana said during an interview in Fast Talk With Boy Abunda.
It was heartbreaking, but for Kiefer, what is most important right now is that Diana is in good health.
“But you know God’s plan, God’s timing, best thing siguro that happened is now she’s healthy. Hopefully, with God’s grace, we could try again and see where it takes us,” said Kiefer.
Meanwhile, in the same interview, the couple revealed that apart from their church wedding, they are also going to have a second one, which will be in Palawan. The place is accordingly memorable for them, especially for Kiefer, as this was where he realized that she was the one for him.
They plan on bringing people close to them in El Nido to share the celebration with them, and to bring back how they started.
