One of the netizens who commented on this tweet received a straightforward reply from Bela. The netizen said, “2:48 nung kinulong si Bela sa CR [face with tears of joy emoji] emeee.”

The actress stressed that the netizen should make this joke when the post, video, or photo is just about her. However, Bela pointed out that the post was about the traumatic experience that the human trafficking victim went through.

For the actress, it would be heartbreaking for the victim to see comments like this that reduced her experience because of this inappropriate joke.

This was shared on a popular showbiz site and many netizens recalled Bela Padilla‘s past rift with Marian Rivera. Reportedly, the issue started when Bela and Marian worked together in the 2010 Kapuso series Endless Love.

At that time, the leading man, Dingdong Dantes was already Marian’s boyfriend. Allegedly, Marian was jealous of the romantic scenes between Dingdong and Bela. It was also alleged that because of this rift, Marian locked Bela inside a comfort room.
