Camp of Sen. Bong Revilla Releases Statement over Outgoing Senator’s Plan
BONG REVILLA – The outgoing Senator is set to file complaints against the people who were behind the posts that allegedly caused his defeat.
In the 2025 Elections, Revilla was one of the senatorial bets of the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago. Pres. Bongbong Marcos who even called the Alyansa bets his “dream team” led the call to vote the candidates endorsed by the grand alliance.

The Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago initially endorsed 12 senatorial bets in the 2025 Midterm polls but presidential sister and Sen. Imee Marcos left the team. The grand alliance’s senatorial slate is composed of the following:
- Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos
- Sen. Francis Tolentino
- Sen. Pia Cayetano
- former Sen. Manny Pacquiao
- Makati City Mayor Abby Binay
- Sen. Lito Lapid
- former Senator Panfilo Lacson
- Sen. Ramon ”Bong” Revilla Jr.
- Deputy Speaker Camille Villar
- former Senator Vicente Sotto III,
- former Social Welfare and Development Secretary Erwin Tulfo

However, out of the 11 senatorial bets of the Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago, only six (6) of them made it to the Top 12. They are re-elected Sen. Pia Cayetano; returning senators Lito Lapid, Ping Lacson, and Tito Sotto; and newly-elected Sen. Camille Villar and Erwin Tulfo.

Outgoing Sen. Bong Revilla is one of the senatorial bets of the Alyansa who were defeated in the 2025 Senatorial Race. Previously, Revilla admitted that he did not expect his defeat in the Senatorial Elections but call on the people to unite now that the election is over.
Recently, outgoing Sen. Bong Revilla revealed that he is set to file complaints against the people behind the social media posts that allegedly caused his defeat in the 2025 Senatorial Election. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, five (5) to 10 individuals are being eyed.
“Kailangan siguro mag-file talaga ng case against those people na dapat managot dito. Dahil hindi naman natin pupuwedeng lokohin ang taongbayan,” Revilla said.
Based on the report, in a separate interview, the lawyer of Sen. Bong Revilla, Atty. Raymond Fortun, revealed that they will coordinate with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to identify the personalities and bloggers who were behind the posts. The former Senator’s camp is planning to file cyberlibel complaints.
“I have been told not to disclose the names of these individuals at this time because there’s a need to vet them. But definitely, Sen. Revilla will be coordinating with the NBI to find out the bona fides of these people,” the lawyer said.
Previously, entertainment writer Lolit Solis claimed that Sen. Bong Revilla is disappointed by his election loss.
