PAGASA Says Hot Weather w/ Chances of Rains Are expected Over Parts of PH
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that hot weather is expected in Luzon, while LPA will bring rains over Visayas and Mindanao.
On Thursday (March 27, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The low-pressure area will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA weather specialist Chenel Dominguez reported that the low-pressure areas was last spotted at 220 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. The rains in Visayas and Mindanao were brought by the low-pressure area.

“Ito ay huling namataan sa layong 220 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. Sa ngayon nananatili na mababa ang tsansa nito na maging bagyo pero inaasahan natin na magdadala ito ng ulan lalo na po dito sa may Visayas at Mindanao,” Dominguez said.
The LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region.
The easterlies will prevail in Luzon and are expected to experience hot weather until the afternoon with chances of isolated rain showers.

It will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains or severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and the remaining parts of the country will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA.
No gale warning was raised over any of the country’s seaboard.
