This is what Marjorie Barretto said about her daughter’s issue.
In a post, Marjorie Barretto has this to say after Nikka Kho edited some part of her post that had accusations about Julia Barretto.
“Juju On The Go“ is the YouTube travel show of actress Julia Barretto. Her videos showcase the beauty of the Philippines as she explores one place at a time. Her storytelling was also excellent, and anyone who comes across her travel videos will definitely fall in love with the places she has stepped into.
In a previous article, Julia addressed a certain Nikka Kho after the latter accused them of shutting down an island for hours to shoot for her show, leaving other people waiting. She and her team were also labeled as entitled and selfish for doing it, and in a statement, the actress made a clarification.
She addressed Kho directly and expressed her hope that what she did to her—”unfounded attack and cruel words”—would be something she would not deal with. She stressed that words have weight and spreading false information can result in real harm.
While what she usually does is brush off baseless accusations, this time, she could not allow it. She “will not tolerate misinformation that misrepresents my character, my work, or the purpose of Juju On The Go.”
In an Instagram story, her mother, Marjorie Barretto, also reacted to the issue and slammed the person behind the post for editing the original one after the issue went viral. She asked why it was edited, but despite the action, they already have the original file for future purposes.
“Did you realize how irresponsible you were?” Marjorie quipped and added, “When you put it out there and you are called out, editing only makes you look weak.”
