Is Dan Laurel the boyfriend of Frankie Pangilinan? A beach photo shared by Frankie on social media has sparked discussions online, and while many are curious, a lot were also “kilig” at the thought that this could be her boyfriend, the one she publicly introduced online.
Based on the photo, they posed cozily beside each other, and a lot of people close to her, including her sister Miel, expressed happiness for them, indicating support.
WHO IS DAN LAUREL?
Kakie first shared their photo together last February 14, and some people quickly identified him as Dan Laurel, coming from an old, rich Laurel family, and a cousin of actress-singer Denise Laurel.
Meanwhile, Frankie is the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Senator Kiko Pangilinan. Last year, she added another title to her name. She took an oath of office in the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. (SSFI), and the appointment document was signed by then Senate President Chiz Escudero.
According to the oath Frankie signed, she promised to “actively participate and support all activities and programs of the foundation” in her role as Chairperson of the Committee on Youth.
In an Instagram post, the Megastar expressed how proud she is of her daughter, who bravely took on the role.
In 2025, she expressed no plans of entering politics. According to her, politics has never been part of her plans despite being vocal about national issues. Being vocal about the issues is just a result of her concern for her fellow Filipinos.
She is paving her own personality and career path and knows what she wants, and she has lived by her principles. She has a gift for words and claims she got her love of books from her dad, which made her a good writer. She is also largely inclined to music, something she got from her superstar mother.
