A netizen shared an update about the recent issue involving Xyriel Manabat
The driver who made inappropriate comments about Kapamilya actress Xyriel Manabat reportedly attempted to end his life during a Facebook Live following the backlash he received.
To recall, a TNVS (Transport Network Vehicle Service) driver shared a photo with the actress as his passenger, and he wrote a malicious caption in this, which did not sit well with the online community.
In Xyriel’s statement, she condemned the malicious act and stressed that she will take legal action against this. Grab Philippines, released a statement regarding the issue, stressing that the driver was already suspended, and the company apologized to the actress.
In a recent post on Reddit, netizen @CompetitiveGrab4938 shared under ChikaPh a screenshot of the supposed driver. In a recent post, it can be seen that the driver said that he is ready to give his life, if this is the only way for people to be stop critizing him.
According to the netizen who posted the screenshot, the driver reactivated his Facebook page and then, he went live.
“With matching upuan and lubid sa likod. Sa live, inaayos niya na yung tali then biglang dumating yung asawa ang pinigilan siya tapos umiiyak then end live. Before mag-live nag post din sya account niya,” the netizen narrated.
The netizen shared how they acquired this information. “Source: Isa sa mga friends niya sa FB and ka-work sa Flash. Hindi na narecord yung live kasi nagdeactivate na ulit ng account,” the netizen revealed.
It was also revealed that the said source said the driver is really fond of posting “kalokohan” on his social media page, and he became comfortable doing this. With this, for the netizen, the driver deserved the criticism that he received.
