Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda has this brief but meaningful message to Kapuso star It’s Showtime guest Jak Roberto.
The year 2025 started with a breakup in the entertainment industry. Celebrities Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto have broken up and many were saddened. They have been together long enough to settle down but it did not work out.
Barbie confirmed the split with Jak after over seven years of being together. The reason for the split was not disclosed and in a statement, the actress has nothing but good words about their journey together.
In the recent episode of It’s Showtime, Jak briefly interacts with Vice Ganda. After pulling off a couple of pick-up lines to a contestant, Vice quipped this to him who is still fresh from a breakup, “Ok lang yan. Susuportahan ka namin if that is your way of coping.”
He just laughed in response.
About the relationship of Jak and Barbie
They met and first worked together in rom-com TV series Meant to Be and this was followed by Kara Mia which was aired in 2019. It was around this year when JakBie was born, the collective name of their love team.
It was in 2017 when they became a couple and in the same year, their relationship was confirmed. Jak used to believe Barbie was “the one” for him. They already have shared talks about getting married.
Last year, Jak was trending for his “anti-silos” classes, a slang term for anti-selos. This was amid the rise of Barbie’s love team with David Licauco. Many people used to admire the couple as their relationship was maintained despite the success of the love team.
Unfortunately, this did not last long.
